Garwood is located on SH 71
Halfway between Columbus, Texas and El Campo, Texas.

It is 12 mi. southwest of Eagle Lake,
Known as “the goose hunting capital of the world.”

The following Houston intersections are within an hour’s drive of Garwood,
using the following routes:

I-10 and SH 6
I-10 west exit Sealy.
Rt on SH 36 to FR 3013.
Rt on FR 3013 to Alt 90 at Eagle Lake.

FM 1093 (Westheimer Rd) and SH 6
FR 1093 (Westheimer Rd) west to FR 3013 at Eagle Lake.
Left on FR 3013 to Alt 90.

Alternate 90 and SH 6
Alt 90 west to FR 3013 at Eagle Lake.

SH 59 and SH 6
SH 59 south past Rosenberg to Spur 10.
Rt on Spur 10 to Alt 90.
Left on Alt 90 to FR 3013 at Eagle Lake.

From Alt 90 and FR 3013 at Eagle Lake (Shell convenience store)
Continue 4.4 miles south on FR 3013 to Matthews Store Rd (“MSR”).
Rt on MSR to FR 102.
Left on FR 102 for about 200 yards to FR 950.
Rt on FR 950 to SH 71 at Garwood.
Left on SH 71 about .5 mile to Chevron station.

From Chevron station in Garwood
Continue south on SH 71 for .8 mile to FR 333.
Rt on FR 333 approximately 6 miles to CR 121.
Left on CR 121 about 500 yards to GSC entrance on the right.
Look for the signs.
